Attached are pictures of our Lustron in Springfield, Ohio. Someone before us had installed a furnace and air conditioning, so we upgraded those to highly efficient ones and we also installed energy efficient windows. Both of these improvements have resulted in significantly lower energy bills. When we bought the place, the kitchen was disgusting so we had to have it redone. Additionally, we had a company called Miracle Method strip the bathroom walls and resurface them. That company was so excited when they saw the house and they remarked that they could do the whole house inside and out!

We still have the original Lustron roof. This past year we learned that it was bad and because we are so in love with the little house, we found a roofing company locally who was willing (of course, at a price!) to sand the tiles that were bad, patch the places needed and coat everything with a rubber coating. While our choices of colors were limited, we think that we were still able to maintain the look while protecting the home. We also did the Lustron garage as well.
