I was busy remodeling an earlier back room addition. It came time to re-cover the Lustron wall with sheetrock. The porcelainized panels were in such fine condition. So I kept the wall exposed as a permanent monument to the home's Lustron legacy. Fortunately, a 1960's carpenter had artfully enclosed the wall without damaging the Lustron panels."
